Luxury Vehicle Hire in Switzerland

Chocolate, banking, clocks, ski resorts and, of course, neutrality; it is too easy to classify the small land-locked country of Switzerland in such terms. But to do so would do it disfavour. Whilst many visitors to Switzerland arrive in the winter months and head for its Alpine ski resorts, a visit to its main cities – Zurich, Basel, Geneva and Bern is very worthwhile.

Summer visitors can enjoy the attractions of its cities alongside its mountainous landscape, the lush green meadows which appear once the snow has melted are equally majestic as the snow-capped Christmas card scenery of winter. Switzerland is so small that it would be a travesty to stay in one place. In fact, perhaps take a road trip starting from Geneva in the south, heading north and ending in Basel whilst taking in Lausanne, Montreux, Bern and Zurich. We have a range of supercars, prestige, exotic and 4x4 vehicles available to hire in various locations across the country.

The Centre of Europe

Despite its central European location, bordered by France, Italy, Germany, Austria and Liechtenstein, Switzerland is not an EU member state and the currency is Swiss Francs. There is no official language with French, Italian and Swiss German all being spoken widely.

Skiing and snowboarding in the likes of Zermatt, Wengen and the stylish St Moritz in winter is replaced with hiking and biking in the summer although head for the peaks at Jungfraujoch (3454m) whichever season you visit and if you’re feeling adventurous follow the Eiger trail which runs along the foot of the famous Eiger North Wall.

Take some time to stopover in some of its cities like its medieval capital Bern home to its famous brown bears and stunning Bernese Mountain Dogs.
