Rent Luxury Cars in Munich
Munich Supercar Hire
It would be ungracious to refer to Munich, the Bavarian capital, in terms of just its beer and the famous Oktoberfest when there is so much more to the city and the surrounding region. Located in the south west of the country, Munich isn’t far from the Austrian border and it offers the perfect opportunity to jump in your luxury car rental in Munich and drive out of the city and into the Bavarian countryside with its breath-taking mountain and lake scenery, complete with real life ‘Disney’ castles. However, cars and football are undoubtedly two of Munich’s most popular pulls with its world famous team of Bayern Munich and the home of the BMW.
You would blend in extremely well with the locals, driving a luxury BMW car rental. Why not rent a the BMW i8 supercar, the prestige BMW 7 Series for luxury, the BMW M5 for performance, the BMW M Series cabriolet sports car or the X5 SUV for a more robust journey into the mountains. Obviously, other brands available are Ferrari, Aston Martin, Audi, Porsche, Bentley and Mercedes. Search our iSuperdrive website for more information.
What to do in Munich
Munich's population of 1.3 million shares 61 theatres, four major orchestras, which include the Philharmonic under Christian Thielemann, several chamber-music orchestras and a prestigious state ballet. With one of the most beautiful squares in Germany, Marienplatz is the main square in Munich where shops and restaurants line its perimeter, plus the historic buildings that stately stood in the square. If short on time when visiting Munich, make time to see Marienplatz and focus on these four aspects of it: New Town Hall, Old Town Hall, the Column of St. Mary and the Glockenspiel, a clock tower that houses motorized figurines. The famous Christmas market takes place annually in the Marienplatz. Oktoberfest and the Hofbräuhaus Beer Hall - It is difficult not to succumb to Oktoberfest and the world famous Hofbräuhaus beer hall as the defining character of Munich when it is embraced so wholeheartedly by the Bavarians themselves.
Don’t let the diluted, stereotypical poor German beer hall imitations at home put you off visiting, even out of the Oktoberfest season, there is plenty of choice although Hofbräuhaus beer hall, serving some 30,000 people daily, in the old quarter is a beer lover’s paradise. Museums - there are number of internationally renowned museums in Munich including the Deutsches Museum, the world's biggest science and technology museum and paying homage to the country’s motoring heritage is the BMW Museum.
