When it comes to supercars, there is nothing like a red Ferrari! For many of us at iSuperdrive Towers, the F’s have been the piece de resistance! Who can forget the stunning F40 or the flamboyant, rip roaring F50? Well enter the Ferrari F80 concept from Italian designer Adriano Raeli. This is essentially a road-legal F1 car that just looks out of this world; inspired by a so-called NDAD fighter jet with the aim of producing an appearance of a floating Ferrari.
We’ve been more than happy ogling the beautiful LaFerrari and we still absolutely adore one of our most popular supercars, the Ferrari California, but this takes it to another level. If we were a young teenager, this would be our masterpiece, taking pride of place on our bedroom wall.
Alas, this is just a concept, so before you go clambering to check if we have this model available to rent under our Ferrari section, hold your horses.
Ferrari F80’s Key Stats and Performance
Speaking of horses, so what would be under the hood? Well, the vehicle will have a whopping 1,200 horsepower, generated from a hybrid drivetrain that pairs a KERS system with a combustion engine. This will enable 0-62,mph in just 2.2 seconds and a top speed of an astonishing 310 mph. Similar to the F80’s legendary grandfather that is the F40, it will be powered by a twin-turbocharged V8, not the naturally aspirated V12 that is synonymous with Ferrari. This will produce 16,000 rpm and would weigh just 1,763 pounds, no wonder it would be so quick off the mark!
It is safe to say we have all fallen in love here at isuperdrive. For us it is an absolute work of art, a masterpiece that truly makes us go weak at the knees. Any supercar fan will love a red Ferrari and the F80 is the superlative red Ferrari.
